this is making me doubt even more

i was planning to make a 7:1 s/s , but after the 7:1 Spear vid im having second doubts...

s/s has a shield and can block. He has knockdown and stab wich is pretty good. But spears have stun and knockback, and they do more damage.

they both have good and bad things

please help me decide O.o

not only you should be doubting about spear or sword but also about useing protector or garment, if you make s/s i don't know if you make enough damage to kill people. i have seen in other servers that when a full str has pimped his garment set it can go afk while nuker hitting on it.

i have 7:1 spear in zeus server and i am grinding 3lvl lower mobs, cause i can 1hit them, but i think when it comes to pvp sword will do just as fine as spear. only build that will give trouble to kill for s/s 7:1 hybrid will be blader, cause the shield lowers the already not really high damage and also blocks.

think ill go for spear anyway...

I think that everyone has great points as to builds. For me, I would make a build like this:

S/S - Pure Int, Bicheon 80, Cold 80, Light 80, Fire 60 (Optional). [Protector]
S/S - Hybrid Int, Bicheon 80, Fire 80, Light 80, Cold 60. [Garms]

Spear - 7:1, Heuksal 80, Light 80, Cold 80, Fire 60 (Optional). [Protector, or fully pimped garms]
Spear - Pure Int, Heuksal 80, Cold 80, Light 80. [Protector, or Fully +5~6 pimped Garms]

However that's just me.

if fire 80 i would pick prot cause of higher mag defense from buffs and higher phy def from prot

if cold 80 i would pick garment cause you have more phy def from cold and you need mag def from garment
